Big town's "Overwhelming" attitude...

Metro stations are a home to a millions...
Well few months ago this metro station has adopted me in his home as well...
This was a brand new experience for me as I haven't closely observed such a busy city.. However I got certain opportunities to tour to such cities but that was of very short notice. So this time I grabbed enough opportunities to closely observe this city.

Well people over here are not at all busy in a usual manner…
But over here people are going…Just going don't know where…But still they are going…Here people are so much occupied in their work or even in their personal problems…That sometimes it seems to me that they are not even living. It’s really very sad to see all this.

Anyway my first observation to the metro station was as wide-eyed as the wee hours of the morning. I was sliding down through the staircase and saw such a magnificent visual effect of the crowd. Those people who had just de-boarded one metro and were about to board the one standing at the other side of the metro's platform. This visual effect filled me with awe and I felt a very strange but unique feelings.

Buy the way have you ever noticed the rain drops which touches the pond or a container that is filled with water...there the waves kind of things moves to and fro on a simultaneous bases. Just in the same way the crowd at the metro platform gave the visual effect to me. But it felt very strange because they carry a very blank and motionless faces, as if they were just breathing but not living.

It had been more than 6 months to observe and work in this city and I am not at all happy to discover the attitude which the people of this "big town" possess. However, it surprised me completely to notice that this "overwhelming" mentality/attitude exist at my house, in this big town, as well. The mentality, to look down over a person who comes from the so called, "Small town". God!... I just want to know the original source from where this concept emerged.

If a person has travelled to a place which is geographically bigger than to the place he/she belongs then does he losses the right to breath. Is this his/her fault, as he/she has been brought up in a geographically smaller town? Well I don’t think so, and I strictly oppose the attitude of this "Big Town" People.

One of my friends has traveled to this metro city and I was very surprised and felt great to see her here. So, I shared my happiness with my relatives. But their response to this shook me from tip to toe, as I smelled that same Big Town's "Overwhelming" attitude. Is it all about the place you belong…not the talent and the skill that person might possess.

It’s so strange that we still have such a gloomy mentality for those who also eat food as we do, who also have same set of desires as we have. They are also human beings and the big town's busy people must understand this. And if we can correct our self then I am so sure that this rude distinction will not survive for long.
